The Members of the Co-op

Every worker-owner serves on the Board of Directors. We all share ownership, management, and responsibility for the business.

  • Justin Seis (he/him)

I grew up in Wausau, roughly 30 minutes North of here and have been here since 2014. I originally came here as an Ecology student, but ended up with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology and Environmental Ethics, with a minor in Environmental Studies. The intersection of social, economic, and environmental concerns has long been at the forefront of my mind. I am regularly studying what I can in these and related areas.

  • Matthew Zimmerman (he/him)

I have lived in Wisconsin my whole life. I have an AIT for Computer Programming. I have long searched for a place to call home, and with helping build TBC I feel Stevens Point is a community I want to be in. I participate in organizing conventions that deal with board games and video games, both being active interests of mine. I mostly enjoy books on mystery, fantasy, and thrillers. I have greatly enjoyed the works of Dan Wells and Barry Lyga and even had the chance to meet and talk to Dan Wells about his John Cleaver series. I have a fascination with how things work that never left with childhood, which translates into my interests in books, video games, and board games alike.

  • Hailey Fields Theo (she/they)

UWSP graduate B.S. Sociology. Certified yoga instructor in Hatha & Ashtanga Vinyasa. I have been an environmental activist for over 10 years. I have been traveling internationally since I was 13, including 1 year in Bolivia as a Rotary Exchange student. Interests: cooking, biking, sewing, local food systems, minimalist abstract expressionism, brutalist architecture & design.

  • Antony Theo (he/him)

I have lived in Stevens Point since 2016, when I enrolled at UWSP. I grew up in Eau Claire, WI. I was very grateful to find a warm, welcoming, and active community in Central Wisconsin. I am proud to be a part of The Bookshop Co-op.

  • Kristin Conway (she/her)

I grew up in Central Wisconsin, returned after a few years in the Twin Cities. I have degrees in Sociology and Religious Studies from St Norbert College. I'm an autodidact, reading anything and everything that will help me understand people, societies, how they function and how to make them better. I have a fascination with cults and will read/watch anything about them. Tell your dog I said hi.
